Au Pair Job Description：
There will be some driving locally to and from school and after-school activities.
Some basic cooking would be helpful and the ability to help a little to keep the house clean and tidy is important.

Hi!
The house where you’d live, Hertford, a lovely old market town, which has many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, a library, a theatre/cinema, gyms, a swimming pool, parks and rivers.
It is easily accessible to London, in about 45 minutes, with a frequent, direct train service (the train station is 5 minutes walk from the house), but you can also escape to the beautiful countryside within 10 minutes!
Host mother is a professional classical musician working in an orchestra in London and Host father has recently retrained to work as a Primary School Teacher.
Our schedule is quite regular and so can be planned well in advance. There would be lots of free-time for our au pair. Your hours would include some occasional evenings and weekend times, but would be mostly involve morning school drop-offs and 3-5pm slots. There will be extended periods of free-time during the school holidays.

Our son is a fun little character! He’s funny, playful, pretty calm-natured and he is mostly very well behaved and amenable! He likes playing football in the garden/park, going on bike rides, playing games, baking/cooking, crafts and of course playing video games…! Outside of school, he attends various activities – piano lessons, Cubs, fencing and rugby.
Our au pair will have their own double bedroom, WIFI and will also have access to a mobile phone and a car. NB! It is important that you have had a reasonable amount of driving experience.
We would hope that our au pair would be active and take an initiative with son in visiting places and doing activities, whether they are indoor or outdoor, fun or educational.
have two very friendly cats in my house, about 10 minutes away, where you would spend some time looking after our son.
